Have to say, this has to be a nifty little device. If its not an arm and a leg, I think I will pick one up. As much as I ravel and use different machines I think this would be great to keep my info secret.

The “Vaccine” USB is described as the world’s first USB equipped with anti virus and malware protection software.

Giving users an extra layer of protection through real-time system monitoring and hardware scans, the Vaccine claims to protect any PC or laptop from the moment it is inserted with its “plug and auto run” function.

Once connected, the USB automatically monitors incoming traffic for viruses and malware with real-time system monitoring.

In addition, users can carry out in-depth hardware scans whenever necessary to verify the presence of infection and perform repairs to cure or delete defected files.

The anti-virus and malware firmware is regularly updated through automatic downloads for the 2-year period users ejoy the licence for free.

Convention goodies

As part of my job I occasionally go to conventions, about 4-5 per year. I usually load up on all the swag, you know, the free gear and gifts you get at the various booths. I am going to a few conventions in the upcoming months and for a change I have to get us some swag to give away at our booths. All trade show items items are not made equal and I stumbled across a great site to get ours. I was quite excited about the costs and the good selection so I thought I would share. So if you need some trade show item check out this site.

Putin is Times Man of the year

So Time choose a man who has turned Russia around from a collapsing economy to an economic power house and given its citizens more economic freedom than ever before. Thats why Time Magazine choose him, not for the suspecious murders or the fact that he jails or suppress political opposition.  I admit he has done some good things with Russia’s economy but his attempt at power grabbing and oppression worry me. His changing of the Russian economy and lifting up of many of teh Russian people has given him great power. But to quote a movie, with great power comes great responsibility. I wonder, will he abuse this responsibility? Has he already?

I have tried some of their training modules and they have put the right technology and training methodologies into their product. Right now they are running an offer to try one of their courses for free. So head on over and check it out.

I find it very difficult to get a very professional feel otu of the few attempts I have made to work with the API, its not what I expected from Google.
