Free the White Space!

FreeTheAirwaves.comWhat is White Space? White space is the radio airwaves that exists between the tv channels that are unused. Why should we free it, because it is a public resource that certain companies want to horde and use for their own profit. Why should it be freed, because it could bring wireles internet access to the massess. Could you imagine being able to access the internet anywhere in America? Think about it for a second…if somewhere in america can get a TV signal, they could then get Internet access.

Unless we speak out to our congressional representatives, large telephone and cable companies will continue to deny Internet access to millions who cannot access the information superhighway.

AOTS – MC Hammer

You know I watch Attack of the show quite often. And while this is not the newest thing I ran across it on YouTube today and thought I would share. Oliva does a good job of portraying her self as the not so bright crayon in the crayon box. But still its pretty funny, the MC Hammer skit afterwards, not so great. But the Ron Burgandy moment is priceless.

NBC Announces new Knight Rider series!

When I was a kid I used to watch Knight Rider, It wasn’t the most amazing show ever as some people make it out to be, but, I did watch it regularly. The Hoff made a decent Michael Knight, I always felt Michael was a stooge for some hidden government conspiracy, but still it was entertaining.

The new show will debut as a two-hour movie on February 17th with a cast that includes Justin Bruening, Deanna Russo, Sydney Tamiia Poitier and Bruce Davison. Also confirmed is the return of David Hasselhoff in the role of an elder Michael Knight. Finally, the character we care about most, KITT, has been officially confirmed as a Ford GT500KR. The voice of KITT will also be none other than Will Arnett, husband of Saturday Night Live’s Amy Poehler and ex-alum of the TV show Arrested Development.

There will actually be three versions of KITT in the show: a 540-hp standard version of the character named KITT Hero, a super high-speed version that’s heavily modified for combat called KITT Attack, and a driverless version called KITT Remote. According to NBC, KITT in the modern era is a supercomputer capable of hacking anything that plugs into a wall, and thanks to progress made in the area of nanotechnology, its body can shift both its shape and color.
