Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live

CNN Rips on Sarah Palin

This is the Saturday Night Live skit that uses Sarah Palin’s own words to make a skit. It is pretty ridiculous that this person is in line for the vice presidency and only a heartbeat away from the presidency. If you watched any of her interview you can see that she does NOT perform well under pressure and is not suited for the vice presidency, much less the presidency.

Palin in a Bad Disney Movie

Recently I posted an AP Interview where Matt Damon likened Palin to a bad disney movie. Well College Humor decided to make the trailer and here it is:

Just like this video. :)

Hate propaganda? Poltical parties trying to scare us.

Obsession: Radical Islam’s War Against the West

My wife and I received a copy of “Obsession: Radical Islam’s War Against the West” an obvious political propaganda stunt targeted at voters in swing states. Its obvious from the label that this supposed non-partisan 501(c)3 non-profit group is trying to sway voters by scaring them. It is really sad how this DVD portrays all Muslims as full of hate for the west. I fear that if even one person took this DVD serious it could lead to something bad happening to our fellow Muslim-Americans.

We received this DVD direct mail to my wife, its easy to tell from the label that they pulled her name from the voter rolls. I did some googling and went to this organizations website. It amazes me how secretive this group is. There is almost no information on who runs this organization, who funds them or any other details that make this group look even more shady.  I dug around further and found a few more links. Check out the links below about some of the people behind this film, political intentions and speculation.

Free the White Space!

FreeTheAirwaves.comWhat is White Space? White space is the radio airwaves that exists between the tv channels that are unused. Why should we free it, because it is a public resource that certain companies want to horde and use for their own profit. Why should it be freed, because it could bring wireles internet access to the massess. Could you imagine being able to access the internet anywhere in America? Think about it for a second…if somewhere in america can get a TV signal, they could then get Internet access.

Unless we speak out to our congressional representatives, large telephone and cable companies will continue to deny Internet access to millions who cannot access the information superhighway.

Sometimes I wonder what makes America so great, there are plenty of places I could live in the world with out so many problems that America has. There are much cleaner and safer countries, countries with much better health care systems and countries with more focus on themselves rather than the rest of the world.

The reason I live in America, is I am America. I am not the cleanest person in the world, I like to do dirty things. I like porn, I like fast food, I like violent movies, I also believe in honor, I believe in honesty and I like the choice to be able to do and believe those ideas.  That is America, it is opportunity, it is choice, and it is greatness. Simple enough?

What I don’t like is when people mess with the honor and integrity of America. Sarah Palin would mess with that honor and integrity.  I have read many articles lately giving disturbing news about Sarah Palin, and these are not blogs or unsubstantiated articles from little know news agencies.

Recently I read in the New York Times that, and I am quoting here, “Throughout her career, Ms. Palin has pursued vendettas, fired officials who crossed her and blurred the line between government and personal grievance.”

Does that remind you of American politics, or Russian politics? I know another world leader who uses these same tactics with Oil Companies, political rivals and personal grievances. His name is Vladimir Putin, and if you don’t think he does things of this nature, why don’t you ask Garry Kasparov.

How many of these unethical acts do we have to find out about before the rest of America realizes she is not the right person to be running any government agency.

Lets run down what has come out since she received the nomination?

Sarah Palin allegedly tried to have her former brother-in-law fired because he was in a custody dispute with her Sister.

Sarah Palin banning books!?

Sarah Palin Bans books?

I just saw an associated press article at Yahoo news talking about how Sarah Palin tried to ban books when she was mayor of Wasilla. This makes me very uneasy, seems like people are ignoring all of these facts about her because she is a “hocky mom.” This whole thing about being nice to her is fine and all, but I think people are forgetting that we need info on Sarah Palin to know if she is a capable leader. I have heard rumors of her trying to have her ex-brother-in-law fired while she was governor because he was in a custody dispute with her sister. All of these things make me feel very uneasy about her.

“Shortly after taking office in 1996 as mayor of Wasilla, a city of about 7,000 people, Palin asked the city’s head librarian about banning books. Later, the librarian was notified by Palin that she was being fired…”

Matt Damon Speaks out on Palin

I am a democrat that can swing independent or republican if I think the person is the right fit for the job. I am by no means die hard on politics, I have my beliefs and I stick to them and let them guide me. I am not much for talking Politics or religion. Those subjects are personal to me and as I am not a priest or politician so I limit what I say on those subjects. But when I do find somethin I think is important to speak about or endorse I have no problem putting out there. In the following clip from an interview with Matt Damon he does a good job of expressing some of the feelings I have twords the possible next vice president or president.

Free Press is a right!

I’m outraged by St. Paul law enforcement’s overly aggressive and violent tactics to stifle independent journalism.

Yesterday, police in St. Paul arrested several journalists, including Democracy Now! host Amy Goodman and an AP photographer as they were covering protests of the Republican National Convention. Get involved in this campaign by demanding that press intimidation cease immediately, and that all charges be dropped.
